I am very passionate about the importance of diversity and inclusion. In October 2015, ACTRA National’s Diversity Committee challenged its members to come up with a script answering, “How are diverse Canadian stories important for our screens and our society?” My script, Drum with Us, was 1 of the 3 winners of this Short Film Script Competition 2.0.
